Students in grades 8 - 12 are encouraged to join PARTY (people in Arundel county temple youth). These students participate in temple programs (coordinate and run the Purim carnival) and other activities throughout the year. The co-presidents are Sarah Buchanan and Hillary Handelsman and the advisor is Sarah Heddings. Ms. Heddings can be contacted at smheddings32@comcast.net.

Students in grades 5 - 7 are welcome to join the junior youth group (JYP). These students get together a few times a year for social activities. The advisor for this age group is Lindsay Lanton. Ms. Lanton can be contacted at Llanton@aacps.org.

Students in grades 2 - 4 are welcome to join the GR 2 - 4 youth group which meets a few times a year for social activities. The advisors for this group are Stacy Shaener and Cindy Reiner. Mrs. Shaener can be contacted at sshaener@verizon.net.

Students in pre-kindergarten through first grade are welcome to join the YG PK-1 youth group which meets a few times a year for social activities. The advisor for this group is Mindy Elfersy and Ms. Elfersy can be contacted at melfersy122@comcast.net.

Introducing … BeaSTY! A New Youth Group Program
The Youth Committee is very pleased to introduce a brand new youth group program at Temple Beth Shalom that will begin rolling out this autumn, BeaSTY (Beth Shalom Temple Youth). Temple Beth Shalom has been fortunate to experience a healthy growth in our membership, especially among families with school-age children. With our youth population at record levels, this is the perfect opportunity to launch a new vibrant youth group program to serve our community for years to come. In addition to a new and revitalized Senior BeaSTY (high school), we will also be launching Junior BeaSTY (grades 6-8), Mini BeaSTY (grades 3-5), and Bitty BeaSTY (grades K-2). Watch for more information on registration and parent support opportunities will be available in the coming weeks.
