Mishkan HaNefesh (High Holy Day Prayer Book) comes in sets of 2, a slimmer gold book for Rosh Hashanah and a thicker silver book for Yom Kippur. They are laid out much like our Shabbat siddur, Mishkan T’fillah, with Hebrew and a translation on the right-hand page and related readings on the left-hand page. In addition, the new books include transliterations of the Hebrew.
It is a long-standing tradition to dedicate prayer books in honor or memory of a loved one. The fee for dedicating a set of temple prayer books is $18 per set. You can also purchase a book for your own use. The price of the Reform Movement’s High Holy Day prayer book, Mishkah HaNefesh is on sale now for $48 for the set of 2 books. The books can be personalized on the inside front cover. If you have any questions or need assistance ordering, please call the temple office at 410-757-0552.
